Here’s my attempt at emulating the Monodeck II’s clip grid using the pK. The setup is built for 6 “songs”, but only 2 are set up currently. A “song” is 8 tracks x 4 scenes. On the pK, you have 2 grids per song with each grid controlling 4 tracks. Each vertical row of pads represents 1 track. After initializing the pad lights, if a clip slot has a clip loaded, the pad will be lit. If no clip is loaded, the pad will be dark. If a clip is playing, the pad will blink. Other features: - Visual metronome
- 4 scene launch buttons per song
- 3 assignable buttons with feedback
- Assignable encoder with feedback
- Assignable set of scrolling +/- buttons with feedback
- Assignable X/Y pad with on/off switch
- 2 assignable knobs
Aside from the pK and Live, you also need MIDI Yoke. After installing, check the manual for info on how to set up Live. You can d/l it here, PC only unfortunately. Let me know what you think.

Another great idea, thanks mate.
When the default set starts up, with no clips loaded, All my lights are on and they stay on. They do flash when a clip is playing and then go back to a lit status when a new clip is selected. I am starting to think this (along with my step sequencer issues) could be an issue with Vista\Live 7 or Bomes.
I also have a remote SL Zero running.

That’s how it should be. The lights won’t display properly until you initialize them. Do that by pressing Setting+Pedal.

this is fantastic. Love the visual metronome too, had not thought of that.

Thanks for checking it out. I uploaded a brief vid that shows the features. Here’s the manual too.

hey dude, i love this app. found a bug though. If I assign anything to the x/y pad (using the shift setting feature) it crashes midi translator and eventually live. Using live 7.03 on a pc with xp pro sp2

Hi,
Thanks for letting me know about this. Just for clarification, is it crashing while you’re actually mapping the control or while you’re using it to control something in Live?
Thanks,
Stray

it works fine for about 5-10 seconds of twiddling. but moving back and forth too much seems to be too much for live to handle

Thanks for the clarification. I will look into this and see if I can find what’s causing it.

Hi,
Yes, this was replaced with nativeKONTROL Trigger, so the trial version is no longer available. My apologies for any confusion.
