Have you seen Korg's demo vid of the PK? It sucks bad and doesn't show half of what this one does. They owe u a favor bud!

I saw the vid they did for NAMM and it was real weak. People tell me that a lot…I should be hitting up Korg for some kick backs on the sales I’m making for them. Just helping cats out with the tips I drop in my vids is all I’m really aiming for though.

Nice videos Stray, thanks for all of them. Though I don't own a Korg PadKontrol (yet), only a BCR2000 so far. Did anyone anywhere compare the PadKontrols features to the BCR2000 features apart from those 16 pads. What are the differences from the possibilities point of view? e.g. BCR2000 has the bigger advantage of offering 32 rotary knobs at immediate access without any further button presses. (by using those 3 other encoder buttons you get even 24 more rotary knobs). On the other side PadKontrol has it's nice 16 pads. Are there any serious alternatives to Korg PadKontrol? Anything from Mackie, Akai, ... ?

I don’t see how they could be compared. One is a knob based control surface, the other is a button based control surface/pad controller. In a perfect world, it’d be nice to have both.
For pad controllers, there’s the Trigger Finger and the 2 MPDs. But for button based control surfaces/pad controllers, the only alternative I know of is the Trigger Finger.

yeah very nice vids, they help me out quite a bit when my brain cant take anymore reading.. And you definately are makin some sells, bro...I wasnt sure about getting the pk but after seeing ur vids i picked one up...still learning on it (slowly)
It didnt come with any software bundle, but thats ok...I use Sonar for all my sequencing and editing.. I still cant figure out how to use ACT Learning for the pk to assign the knobs and x,y pad to control things..

They owe you their advertising budget, I bought my pk after watching your vids. You've got the most useful videos on YouTube, so they owe you too. Thanks a bunch, I owe you my music lesson budget.

Thanks...like I said, I just like helping people and sharing info. If that leads to money in the future, great...but that's not why I'm doing it.
