Hey I emailed you about this earlier and I'm still having problems. Version 1.0 worked fine for me with no problems, so I'm not sure why I'm having problems now. Originally yeah I couldn't find the stupid directory but of course that really had nothing to do with the main problem. Which is, the pads don't seem to be responding correctly in Live at all. For example, I can't get any impulse kits to trigger. I see the midi signal going thru but it's like the pads assigned are way off. I transmitted both the scene set and user messages and that appeared to go thru fine. Bome's been installed before and worked fine, but I reinstalled it to be safe, with midi in on 'padKontrol 1 port a'.
I can get the tracks to arm and unarm fine and the metro nome on/off, save buttons work, but that's about it. I can't even control the volume or pan knobs.
You had asked me to open the librarian and hit receive and see what pad 7 says. I did this and it shows nothing but A2. Which makes no sense to me.
I've gone over the pdf a bunch of times already, making sure I didn't miss anything. But I'm really lost why this isn't working.
Thanks for any help

A2 is the default mapping for Pad7 in the editor so, for whatever reason, the Scene Set wasn’t sent. If you can do Save and Metro, than the User Messages are right. If you can Arm tracks, then Translator is set up right.
With the Editor closed, double click on the pKSetUp file. You shouldn’t see any note numbers (like A2) set up on any of the pads in Scene 1…they should all be #s. If that’s the case, try transmitting it again. If that’s not the case, let me know.

wow i have no idea what really made it work all of a sudden, but it appears to be working fine now. i can move up down left right and all that good stuff now. The only thing I actually tried different this time was "transmit scene" under MIDI in the libriarian instead of clicking the graphical "transmit" button. Which to me is the same thing, so i'm baffled! But who cares its working now, thanks

Oh yeah…never mentioned that, but a lot of the controls work with other programs too. Stuff like Save, Undo, Redo, Enter, the cursor keys.
Glad to hear you got it working Tone. BTW, there’s 2 different types of transmit under the MIDI menu. One to send a scene set, one to send only the current scene. Maybe that’s what happened?
