Scripting Q: Can changing clip not act as a stop action?

Im still new to the clyphX thing, but im having a bit of a conundrum, where when I try to trigger another clip through [] : 2 / Play 1 -- it works just fine, as the clip runs its course and then plays a specified, but the problem is that its triggering the specified clip, not just when its finished, but as soon as I select another clip in its track.. if that makes sense? What would be a good way to work around this?

Welcome to the forum. Are you "selecting another clip in its track" or playing a clip on the same track? Also, you should typically use the dummy action (D) instead of an empty action list like so:
[] D : 2/PLAY 1
