Hello,
I have and ableton push 1 which I use all the time and I find fairly limited. The only daw I'm using at this point in time is Ableton live suite 10.
I see you have two products that both apply to the push 1. Could you please help me decide which one is the best for me ?
I can also see there is a big difference in the value of the two products. Mostly because in arsenal I have to buy all the components separately . Is there any direct comparison between the features of the two products so maybe I could rule out things I don't need ? If I buy pxt-live with plus will there be features missing comparing to arsenal ? (Keep in mind I only use ableton)
Thank you very much I really appreciate your time

Welcome to the forum. In general, the difference between Arsenal and conventional control surface scripts (such as PXT-Live/PXT-Live Plus) is discussed here. As far as features, yes, PXT-Live/PXT-Live Plus and Arsenal each include features the other does not. Which would be the better route for you would depend on you and your needs. If it turns out that you'd have a use for most of the functionality available in PXT-Live/PXT-Live Plus, that would likely be the better route to take. Otherwise, I'd go with Arsenal. I hope that helps you make your decision.

While all the futures of both are really great the two real problems I have with my push are vst parameter editing from push and drum pattern creation with velocity. Are these funtionalities included in any of your products ?
Thank you very much you've been really helpful .

Not too sure what you mean by the problems you're having. Can you be a bit more specific? Alternatively, tell me what you're wanting to do that you're not able to do with what you have already.

What I mean is that the functionality I am mainly missing from my push without nativeKontrol is vst parameter editing, and sequencing drums with velocity (Putting into grid notes and recording velocity by pad pressure). Two things that the push does not do at all by default . I was wondering if these two functionalities are available and from which of the two products.
I'm really sorry if I'm not clear enough again.

On the first point, Push is able to control parameters of VSTs, so I'm not sure what you're wanting on that point. On the second point, both PXT-Live and Arsenal_PS1 have an Input velocity option for use in step-sequencing whereby the velocity of a step is determined by the velocity at which a pad is pressed.

Well to control the parameters of my 3rd party vst's I have to manually map every single parameter every time then save devices etc. Probably ubermap is the solution to this but I haven't figured how to use it yet. Anyway thank you for your answers, I'm glad step sequencing with velocities is supported (I don't know if this is natively supported by push too but I haven't found it anywhere as with any solution on vst control)

Gotcha. You can use Options.txt to change how that works. The option you want is this: -_PluginAutoPopulateThreshold=-1

You are the best. Thank you so much . This only leaves velocity step sequencing so I'll have to do a thorough check between the futures of both products. Again thanks for helping out and sorry if not being that clear.I'm always trying to be better at English .
