First to start off i just got a padKontrol and I am very new to this stuff. I hooked it up and was messing around in Fruity Loops testing it out and everything works good. I noticed in your videos you are using ableton live. I was able to obtain a copy of ableton live 6 but I cant find a free copy of battery. Are there any other programs similar to battery that are free?
And also im wondering how these 3rd part programs interface with ableton. Is it like a plugin or how does that work?
