So I’m finding out a lot of people are having this problem when they install the pK and its software. I had the same issue when I got mine and would’ve mentioned it in my vids, but I thought it was just an issue with my system.
The problem is that after installing the software, the pK will work with your MIDI programs (Reason, FL, Live, whatever), but the Editor/Librarian won’t see it. When you try to Transmit/Receive, you’ll get an error message.
The fix I used was uninstalling all my other USB MIDI/audio devices, installing the pK and then reinstalling my other stuff. Other people have had success with editing the registry.
I'm not sure if uninstalling/reinstalling is self-explanatory, so let me know if you need help with that.

Thanks. The quick uninstall/reinstall worked perfect. Even managed to leave most of the drivers in place and just uninstalled the M-Audio drivers.
btw... Anyone know bout this? c media wdm audio driver Found this driver installed while I was in there. Not sure if i need it: Isn't that a kind of ship-with-the-box driver for onboard soundcards? If I don't need this, then maybe this is what has been causing me all the problems with my soundcard for the last 2years.

Not 100% sure, but I think you’re right, that has something to do with the onboard sound card. Have you disabled the card in BIOS? Different BIOS are set up differently, but on my machine you go to Advanced – Peripheral Configuration and you have the option to Enable/Disable Onboard Audio.

Just realised that the original card was never disabled in the bios. Gonna give that a shot tonight. Thanks.
