Sorry about this everybody…I thought I covered all the bases before I released this, but I missed something.
The Program Change button we’re using for Instant Map has a problem. If you’re using a plug in that supports Program Change messages, pressing the Instant Map button will do what it’s supposed to, but it will also change the preset you’re using in your plug in.
This kind of throws a wrench in things because I was planning on using that button for the new add ons too.
I just found out about this last night (when installing the set up on someone else’s machine), so give me a day or so to get something figured out.
The good news is…this problem may not even affect you (depending on the plug ins you use)…it doesn’t affect me. Either way though, my apologies for the oversight.

Update: Although I managed to fix the first issue, there’s more problems with the Instant Mapping. Sorry guys, I don’t use a lot of instrument plug ins…so I didn’t run into any of this in my testing.
Instant Mapping with the pK doesn’t work with some plug ins for a similar reason to the Program Change thing. It’s hard to explain, but it changes things it shouldn’t be changing.
It does work flawlessly with any of Live’s plug ins and a few others (like Battery) though.
For that reason, I think I’m gonna take it out of the standard package and just offer it as an optional add on . I’m thinking it would be a wasted scene for a lot of people.
I hope that isn’t a big issue and, again, I apologize for the (multiple) oversights.
If you mainly use Live plug ins and you’d like to keep the scene, I’ll be uploading a few replacement files to fix the first issue by the end of the week.

Hi, I discovered your youtube vids, amazing work. Realy thx, especially to share your knowledge. I don't have try already your mapping package coz i have a question : Actualy my notebook screen resolution is 1440x900. And there weren't that resolution hackit file in the tkp befor. Now there is no hackit file at all in the new tkp. Is it normal ? And if it's better to have hackit running, could you tell me what must i map with it at my screenresolution. thx in advance.

Unfortunately, I don’t have that resolution as an option on my machine. If you check the “Total Kontrol is here” thread, I give instructions on how to get the necessary coordinates. Let me know what they are and I’ll send a script immediately.
But, as I said in this thread, the Instant Mapping scene has some compatibility issues with certain plug ins, so I removed it from the standard package, which is why you don’t see the AutoHotKey files in the updated Zip files.
If you really want to have the Instant Mapping scene, I’ll be uploading some updated files at the end of the week.

Ok i understand a little more. I don't realy need the mapping scene, but thx for the support. Now i try to do some tweaking, and i m lost. I don't realy undestand what is map where. There is the padkontrol mapping, the translation with bome for some key and finaly the mapping of live. : / Is it possible that you publish a complet doc ? i tink about how can i do the livetemplate. I ve seen your live midi config video, do you use this tech ? what are you tweaking ? I need this cause i use two os, i ve got a live 5 on the mac side, and your template don't work. And on the other side with 6 on xp, i don't know why but the automatic selecting of a track when i select the scene on pk doesn't work anymore : / And when it was working the track wasn't in rec mode.

Is it possible that you publish a complet doc ? I’m not sure what you mean, the pdf I included shows all the controls and where they’re mapped. i tink about how can i do the livetemplate. I ve seen your live midi config video, do you use this tech ? Yes, the vid I made on setting up a control surface explains how I set up this package. I don’t know what you’re asking. I need this cause i use two os, i ve got a live 5 on the mac side, and your template don't work. Correct, the package is not compatible with Mac…I’m working on that. And on the other side with 6 on xp, i don't know why but the automatic selecting of a track when i select the scene on pk doesn't work anymore : / Do you have Translator running with the right input selected? And when it was working the track wasn't in rec mode. I’m not sure what you mean, using Session view doesn’t require doing anything with Record. You just use Clip Launch to record. I’ll be shooting a vid soon that shows how to use the package, there were a couple issues I needed to iron out first though. Hopefully, that will clear some things up for you.

So, will you be just making scene 16 just be another track just like the scenes for 2-15?

No, I just left scene 16 as is since I plan on replacing the Instant Map scene (or using scene 16 for add ons).

BTW, the problem with the instant mapping scene actually led to a pretty nice discovery...the ability to change presets and control basic aspects of soft synths from the pK. If you haven't already...check this vid out... www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgslc67rvd0
