hey,
would it be possible to modify the delete buttons function in the default push script so that it would work same way as in pxt drumrack mode ?
hold delete + pad to erase on the playhead ? like it works on mpc, maschine, etc.. the logical way ?
shift+del+pad would delete the whole lane
anyone ?
or another idea based on this
the touchstrip would control the rec/delete of notes, atleast in drumrack mode. upper half would be rec, but only the most top part of it would be toggle and the rest it would be momentary rec lower part would be momentary delete and toggle delete.
i really like the way it works when you map the rec button to a slider and manyally punch it in/out while playing something, but the erase is missing from that workflow..

Welcome to the forum. This is possible though it would require a significant modification to the Push script. I'll add it to the wish list and see if it can be added the next time I post a modified version of the script.

Unfortunately not. Due to the release of Push 2, modifications to the Push script are now far more complicated as the involved code lives in various places since Push and Push 2 share some of the same code while also having some of their own specific code. Add to that the fact that all of the involved code is changing quite a bit with each Live update and the result is that modifications really aren't practical at this point. It's probably best to request this feature be added by Ableton themselves.
