Wanted to introduce myself, I signed on the forums after watching the videos. Stray is the man and he nice with it, no doubt.

I'm from cali, got into producing couple years go to kill free time.

I work with akai mpc, yamaha es, vinyl and just recently got into Live6. After watching youtube clips last nite til 7 am. Decided to give pad kontrol a try, picked up battery 3, and a Boss pedal.

First impression of pad kontrol it feels cheap, pads are smaller than mpcs and stiff. But I'm more into functionality and workflow of it than anything else so we'll see.

Thanks. I had the same 1st impression about the pK. If felt like the box it came in was empty…it was a lot lighter than I expected. But I put in on my desk and was surprised at how sturdy it felt. The feet grab really well so there’s no moving around. The pads are definitely stiff, but you get used to it.
